Today, AMD’s CEO Lisa Su presented the packaging that their upcoming line of processors called Threadripper will come in.
The packaging is quite large and unique to say the least. Also AMD confirmed that this is a retail package and not a review sample. By the look of the size of the package it will most certainly include a cooling solution for the CPU. There were speculations that these CPU’s will come with a liquid cooler included but AMD didn’t confirm this.

This and many more details will be revealed at SIGRAPH 2017 where AMD be revealing its TR4 platform and most likely their new RX Vega graphics cards. As far as we know for now the processors should hit the retail shelves around Aug 10th.
